It is located on the north side of the mountain Prenj, at an altitude of 405 m. The shape is an ellipse, 786 long, 502 wide and a depth of 14 meters. It belongs to one of the most beautiful lakes in BiH. In it it's flowing a stream called Boračko and from it flows out river Šištica that makes high waterfall over 30 meters. The countryside is adorned with dense complexes of coniferous and deciduous forests. The lake has carp, brown and lake trout, california trout, crayfish, after which the Borac lake are famous for. Boracko lake is pleasant for swimming, recreation, sports teams, and is rich in various fish, which is a paradise for fishermans. Favorite country resort of domestic and foreign tourists, from Konjic, approximately 20 km asphalt road. Lake is a glacier natural lake, and it was as such becouse people of Konjic kept. We never allowed, nor we will ever alowed to be, that motor boat can transit these waters. Over 100 surface and subterranean springs gives power and clearing for the lake. At an altitude of over 400 meters this locality is also known as an air spa.
